Samantha embarked on her self-healing yoga journey at age fifteen in 2006. She once thought yoga was about contorting into challenging postures, but now sees yoga’s potent power to transform from the inside out. Now, Samantha teaches yoga and works as a behavioral coach for adolescents with anxiety disorders at a Greenwich-based outpatient program called The Anxiety Institute. She melds yoga, mindfulness, reiki, coaching and cognitive behavioral therapy strategies to empower others to create freedom in their life, body, and mind.
“The body holds our stories. That time you felt stressed during a global pandemic? Yes, it remembers that. Stress can be stored in the body as tension, stiffness and sickness. This vinyasa yoga class is tailored for students of all abilities and levels that want to work with and start to release accumulated mental, emotional and physical stress. We will explore flow, free movement, ease and stillness for the sake of creating more space in the body and mind.” Sam
